Recording and writing, gigging, looking forward to isle of bute festival, where we will play the relax. Promoting ourselves and gaining as much exposure as possible.
Tell us about your music and who you are influenced by?
Our music has a broad spectrum of listeners we think we appeal to quite a few generations; our tunes are a mix of punkesque, indie and rock so the appeal is broad. We are quite ballady but have a powerful drive in our new songs. I am influenced by normal people I try not to put other bands influence into our tunes, but all music has evolved from somewhere so you will always sound like someone.
Rehearsing and watching films, often down the pub too.
I am known for my intake of Jack Daniel's when we first started gigging I got hooked but this did me no favors although I love it I know that I have to be careful as I really don’t want to turn into a alcoholic. I mostly now have a pint during our performance and water.
I go through phases I don’t really have a favourite, at the minute I am listening to Muse, Placebo, All American Rejects best song at the mo is Bliss by Muse.
I do really like what is happening on the British music scene with, Libertines and Future Heads etc but don’t really have a favourite as I tend to get a bit jealous, I am really into good songs.
The buzz of the Band, and the feedback we are getting form our gigs, we have a great team now and are confident in our performances, we have a sound engineer Graham who is also our manager which has brought us together. The thought that we may actually make it as a recognized band is defiantly keeping me going.
People who don’t give us chances, we have a great following in the North East and everyone ask’s us why are we not playing at these events? We don’t have the answers it’s like someone is holding us back or saying things to stop us getting there. We know there is a click in sunderland not mentioning names but one day when we make it we will let it be known. Carrying the gear into and out of the venues is now becoming a drag.
To be in the public eye with some great hits. Established and on these big events like Glastonbury. And able to help people out.
Yes! Hold on we wont be long and stop the fighting.
Still trying to get noticed, we are in the studio on Thursday this week to record our new tunes: Rainbow Styles and Trust. They both sort of follow each other we hope to put out either 3 track EP or single soon.
Tonni Iommie, Kirk Hammit, Foo Fighters, Killers, Green Day, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vi
On My bed with head phones and the bath.
Coke, Sothern Comfort and coke I hardly drink only on special occasions or good news.
Blink 182 – Adams song. I think it’s really mint, powerful lyrics and really catchy.
American Rejects, seen the at V their stage presence is awesome, their tracks are cool and meaningful and they have one of the most powerful shows I have ever seen.
Not working 9-5, Being out so much with the band and the buzz we have. My girlfriend Jemma
Crap telly, the election broadcasts, and not getting on the radio 1 big weekend.
Established, working only as a band and a few chart hits.
Please come together, build each others confidence both personally and country wide, stop all this fighting and let me be president for a year.
Gigging and recording and writing new material.
I love the Beatles, so probably them. I do really like some of the new bands like the killers..
Going out with my mates. Chilling with the band after gigs and playing the guitar.
I am a weekend alcoholic, the odd cider but mainly Jack Daniel's.
The Beatles, The White Album, but oasis is not far behind.
The killers and Kaiser Cheifs, just don’t get sick of listening to them.
My little lad
Not much but I do really want to get up there on the big stages, big events. We are ready!
Established, a bit cash and a great string of albums.
It’s a secret!
Gigging, recording growing up.
Blink 182, Travis Barker.. I want a massive kit so we need to get on that big stage cause our sound man will moan if I use them round the pub scene.
Practicing most definitely, but I have enjoyed clubbing a lot lately listening to how new music is effecting the dance floors.
Vodka and Red Bull most weekends.
Blink 182, Feeling this, amazing arrangement and the thought hat has gone into the recording it’s great.
Listening to block party at the mo, they sort of grow on you, but American Rejects they are something else.
Playing a good gig where we are all happy with the performance and the sound. Which is almost every gig now.
Playing the small venues, although we have good gigs and the people love us it’s just not enough, we know that we have what it takes and we just need the big stage to prove it now.
Still together with a string of albums and plenty of big shows.

We are a Four piece rock band from the North East of England in Sunderland, We formed as we are now in about 2002 - 2003 but before that there were various members in and out the band, we are starting to make big waves in and out of our area, currently we are writing our new album and its much more grown up and has a great rock and roll feel about it, and is way head of our time. the songs currently on my space are very old songs apart from the top two, which we consider to be old tunes, we are very confident about the new material and we are delighted to be playing it very soon. we also are four times battle of the bands winners. We won best unsigned band in the north east in 2003 weve also won best band down Hartlepool and were awarded free recording and the chance to play on the TFM's stage alongside some big names, we also came runner up in best band of the year which was hosted in Trillians rock bar and the final was on new years eve on the Quayside in Newcastle, Weve supported former sex pistols bassist "Glenn Matlock" when he was on tour, Also weve just recently supported former shed seven's frontman Rick Witter and his new band "the dukes" we are working really really hard at the moment writing our new album, we are practising some long hours and putting all our effort into the band and finally we are starting to move somewhere, We are on the hunt for a professional management team to help get us on the big stages. Also if any bands from round the country would be interested in gig swapping then just leave us a message and we will get back straight away. |
