We are currently recording new songs and rehearsing the live set with new guitarist Billy Gilbert. We have licensed the live dvd (Re-Animated) to Cherry Red who will be repackaging it and re releasing it in November (So buy the original one through the web site now as there are only a limited amount left.) We have also had news that Captain Oi (punk independent label) have licensed Moving Targets from Virgin and are repackaging it with extra tracks, lyrics and new sleeve notes.
We have been very lucky to find Billy to replace Paul. He has worked hard and learned all the old songs and is contributing to the new ones. It’s working out really well.
We are hoping to do more gigs at the end of this year in November. We are currently trying to get these organised. We have been offered some USA west coast gigs in the spring which we are considering. Obviously we want to do more gigs but we can usually only do them in short bursts. It would be ideal for us to do some festivals next summer both here and abroad.
No particular bands at the moment though I recently went to see James Brown and that was fantastic.
Don’t really have any.
I like to read. I’m also a fan of alternative health therapies i.e. reflexology and I recently tried High octave healing which was an interesting experience (no, I’m not turning into a hippy!).These are great ways to relax. I also enjoy singing!
I mainly drink water, black tea, or fruit juice. I’m an absolute failure with alcohol. I don’t drink beer or fizzy drinks. If I was going for it I would have Vodka with mixer and it would take at least six to get there. Last time I was really bad was after a Buzzcocks show in Newcastle.
We are looking forward to the Manor Quay Show. We are trying to arrange some other gigs before it so that it’s not Billy’s first show with the band. We will definitely have some new songs in the set so it should be good.
