Baggy, baggy, baggy - In! In! In! The Clones Roses, Shaun Ryder and other like minded sorts are splashing down in Sunderland this Month for a real Manchester blow-out. It’s Ryder’s on a stormer! Yes, Shaun William Ryder will be on hand to keep things on the boil at this event which looks to be a real manna from heaven for groovy funkers everywhere. There's no doubt about it, he is the man who put the 'don' into 'hedonistic'. He's appearing at this bash along with The Clone Roses who are single-handedly threatening to give tribute acts a good name, and run the full gamut of Roses' output from early goodies such as Sally Cinnamon, right through tracks from their ground-breaking debut album and The Second coming. If you're not already rooting around the bottom of your wardrobe for those 2" bottom flares, then the rest of the line-up should do the trick. Tom Hingley (frontman with The Inspiral Carpets) will be on hand with his latest band and Sonic Audio (featuring Kav from The Happy Mondays) will be completing the line-up.
